Le ministre de l’Energie et des Mines, Mohamed Arkab, le ministre des Travaux publics et des Infrastructures de base, Lakhdar Rakhroukh et le ministre de l’Hydraulique, Taha Derbal, ont présidé, lundi à Alger, une réunion de coordination et de suivi concernant les projets liés au développement et à la valorisation de la mine Gara Djebilet, selon un communiqué du ministère de l’Energie.
Tenue au siège du ministère de l’Energie, la réunion a porté sur les projets liés au développement et à la valorisation de la mine de fer Gara Djebilet en matière d’infrastructures ainsi que les besoins des complexes de transformation et de traitement aux wilayas de Béchar et d’Oran tels que la voie ferrée, le raccordement en eau, gaz et électricité.
La réunion s’est déroulée en présence du secrétaire général du ministère de l’Hydraulique, du PDG de la Société nationale de recherches et d’exploitation minières (Sonarem), du PDG de la Société nationale du transport ferroviaire (SNTF), en sus des représentants des ministères de l’Industrie et de la Production pharmaceutique, des Transports, de l’Hydraulique, des Travaux publics, de l’Energie et des cadres de l’agence nationale d’études et de suivi de la réalisation des investissements ferroviaires (ANESRIF), a précisé le communiqué.
La réunion a constitué une opportunité de débattre des différents volets et propositions technico-logistiques formulées par les différents secteurs à l’effet de couvrir les besoins des projets d’investissement programmés dans le cadre du développement et de la valorisation de la mine de fer Gara Djebilet, notamment le transport de la matière première de Tindouf vers Béchar.
Le raccordement des complexes de transformation et de traitement à Béchar en gaz, eau et électricité était également au menu de la réunion, outre le transport des produits finis et semi-finis vers le Nord du pays.
Les ministres réunis ont insisté unanimement sur “l’importance de ces projets ainsi que le rôle pivot de ces secteurs dans la réalisation”.
Ils ont appelé, par la même, à la conjugaison des efforts de par la coordination en permanence pour l’examen de toutes les propositions et les voies et moyens susceptibles de couvrir les besoins à court, moyen et long termes.
