Vingt six (6) personnes ont trouvé la mort et 1366 autres ont été blessées dans des accidents de la route survenus du 21 au 27 février passé à travers le territoire nationale, a indiqué mercredi un bilan de la Protection civile.
Le bilan le plus lourd a été enregistré au niveau de la wilaya d’Alger avec 05 personnes décédées et 103 autres blessées, précise la source.
Concernant les activités de lutte contre la propagation de la pandémie, les unités de la protection civile ont effectué, durant la même période, 311 opérations de sensibilisation à travers 48 wilayas, rappelant aux citoyens la nécessité du respect du confinement et des règles de la distanciation sociale.
Les éléments de la Protection civile ont aussi effectué 280 opérations de désinfection générale à travers tout le territoire national, touchant l’ensemble des infrastructures et édifices publics et privés, quartiers et ruelles, où la DGPC à mobilisé, pour les deux opérations, 1242 agents (tous grades confondus), 332 ambulances et 134 engins d’incendie.
Par ailleurs, ils sont intervenus pour l’extinction de 826 incendies urbains et divers à travers le pays, ajoute le communiqué de la PC.
