L’Autorité de régulation de l’audiovisuel (ARAV) a mis en garde, mercredi dans un communiqué, contre les informations non confirmées qui “pourraient attenter à la réputation du produit algérien et porter préjudice à l’économie nationale”, soulignant la nécessité de vérifier la source d’information et sa véracité.
L’ARAV a affirmé avoir suivi le traitement par les médias algériens en général et audiovisuels en particulier, de la question d’exportation des dattes algériennes, et relevé que “certaines chaînes de télévision s’étaient référées à des informations diffusées par des journaux et les sites électroniques de ces derniers au sujet d’un prétendu arrêt des exportations des dattes algériennes décidé par le ministère du Commerce, en raison d’un retour de certaines livraisons au motif qu’elles contenaient des substances nocives pour la santé, selon un article publié par le quotidien ‘Echorouk’, qui a généralisé cette information à toutes les variétés de dattes algériennes”.
L’ARAV rappelle, dans ce sens, le démenti apporté, mercredi, par le ministère du Commerce et de la Promotion des exportations qui réfute les fausses informations relayées concernant l’arrêt de l’exportation des dattes algériennes.
Elle précise que “le traitement de tels sujets et informations pourrait porter préjudice à la réputation du produit algérien et à l’économie nationale”.
L’ARAV “rappelle, à nouveau, la nécessité de se conformer aux règles professionnelles et de s’assurer de la véracité des informations auprès de leurs sources, en écoutant à toutes les parties et en respectant le rapport liberté-responsabilité”, poursuit la même source.
“En cas de poursuite de traitements non professionnel des informations liées directement à l’intérêt général, l’ARAV prendra les mesures légales qui s’imposent”.
