Le délai de dépôt des dossiers de candidatures aux législatives du 12 juin expire mardi à minuit, conformément à l’ordonnance, signée par le président de la République, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, modifiant et complétant la loi organique relative au régime électoral. Initialement prévu le jeudi 22 avril, le délai de dépôt des dossiers de candidatures a été prorogé de cinq jours à la demande de l’Autorité nationale indépendante des élections (ANIE) et après consultation du Conseil d’Etat et du Conseil constitutionnel et avis du Conseil des ministres. Le Conseil constitutionnel a attesté de la «constitutionalité» des dispositions de l’ordonnance présidentielle portant prolongation des délais de dépôt de candidatures pour les élections législatives du 12 juin prochain, soutenant qu’elles «ne portent pas atteinte aux garanties constitutionnelles de l’exercice par le citoyen de son droit d’être candidat», selon le Journal officiel.
La décision relative au contrôle de la constitutionnalité de l’ordonnance modifiant et complétant l’ordonnance portant loi organique relative au régime électoral, concernant la prolongation de cinq jours du délai de dépôt de candidatures pour les législatives du 12 juin, a été publiée au Journal officiel. Selon le président de l’ANIE, Mohamed Charfi, son instance a formulé une demande au président de la République pour la prorogation du délai de dépôt des dossiers, et ce dernier a répondu favorablement à cette requête. Il a soutenu, à ce titre, que cette prolongation est «en phase avec l’objectif de ce scrutin visant à renouveler la classe politique et les institutions de l’Etat en respectant le libre choix du peuple». L’examen de ces dossiers se fait dans les 12 jours au plus tard suivant la date de leur dépôt, ainsi la date butoir est fixée au 9 mai 2021, a rappelé l’ANIE. Au moins 1813 listes de 53 partis politiques agréés et 3075 listes d’indépendants souhaitant se porter candidats aux élections législatives du 12 juin 2021, ont été enregistrées par l’ANIE qui a fait état également du dépôt par notre communauté nationale établie à l’étranger de 15 listes de 9 partis politiques.
