Le ministre de la Santé, de la Population et de la Réforme hospitalière, Abderrahmane Benbouzid a indiqué jeudi à Boufarik (Blida) que le Comité scientifique a donné des instructions pour permettre aux ressortissants algériens et aux étrangers d’entrer au pays dans le cadre de mesures très strictes pour protéger les citoyens contre la Covid19 notamment les nouveaux variants.
“Nous avons mené une étude et donné des instructions, selon les orientations du Comité scientifique, en vue d’autoriser prochainement l’entrée des Algériens et des étrangers sur le territoire national, mais dans le cadre de mesures très strictes”, a précisé le ministre en marge de sa visite au service des maladies infectieuses à l’établissement hospitalier de Boufarik.
“Les personnes entrant en Algérie, ressortissants ou étrangers, devront présenter, à leur arrivée, un test PCR de moins de 36 heures, et se soumettre à des tests que nous estimons fiables”, a-t-il souligné.
Et de poursuivre que “les sujets négatifs seront autorisés à entrer et seront informés des recommandations et consignes à suivre. Les sujets positifs seront, quant à eux, soumis à un confinement de 10 jours”, précisant que les frais du confinement et des examens subis à l’arrivée seront à la charge du concerné.
Les voyageurs en provenance de pays où les variants sont très répandus, “seront soumis à d’autres examens”, sachant que les symptômes n’apparaissent pas systématiquement dès le début de la contamination.
Tout en admettant que la réouverture des frontières ne relève pas des prérogatives de son département, le premier responsable du secteur de la Santé a rappelé que l’Algérie a des relations économiques et commerciales avec certains pays et qu’il y a des étrangers qui viennent dans ce cadre, et par conséquent, a-t-il ajouté, les mesures prises s’inscrivent dans le cadre de la protection de nos concitoyens contre les nouveaux variants”.
