Kinjal, “poignard” hypersonique, utilisé pour la première fois vendredi par l’armée russe, les missiles hypersoniques Kinjal (“poignard” en russe) ont permis selon Moscou la destruction d’un entrepôt souterrain d’armements dans l’ouest de l’Ukraine.
Ce type de missiles, très manoeuvrable, est censé défier les systèmes de défense anti-aérienne. Ils ont atteint, lors des essais, toutes leurs cibles à une distance pouvant atteindre 1.000 à 2.000 km. Ils équipent les avions de guerre MiG-31. Leur emploi en Ukraine est une première mondiale pour un armement hypersonique, selon des experts.
