Le manager général de la sélection algérienne de football Zefizef Djahid a été élu nouveau président de la Fédération algérienne de football (FAF), lors de l’Assemblée générale élective, tenue jeudi au Centre de conférence du stade 5 juillet (Alger).
Le nouveau président de l’instance fédérale a obtenu 52 voix contre 34 voix pour l’autre candidat, l’ancien international Abdelhakim Serrar, tandis que cinq bulletins sont considérés nuls .
Un total de 98 membres ont pris part aux travaux de l’AGE de la FAF.
Zefizef succède à Charaf- Eddine Amara qui avait annoncé sa démission le jeudi 31 mars dernier, deux jours après l’élimination de l’équipe nationale en match barrage de la Coupe du monde 2022 au Qatar (21 novembre – 18 décembre), au terme de sa double confrontation face au Cameroun (aller : 1-0, retour : 1-2, a.p).
