L’Algérie a décroché, samedi à Manama (Bahreïn), le prix de son Altesse Cheikh Issa Ben Ali Al Khalifa des leaders d’actions de bénévolat, selon un communiqué du Réseau Jeunesse Algérienne.
L’Envoyé algérien, Adel Gana a reçu le prix de son Altesse Cheikh Issa Ben Ali Al Khalifa des leaders d’actions de bénévolat dans le monde arabe, au vu du travail remarquable qu’il a fait dans la solidarité, le bénévolat et le développement notamment en valorisant les convois de médecins bénévoles organisés par Réseau Jeunesse Algérienne sous le haut patronage du président de la République, Abdelmadjid Tebboune durant trois éditions consécutives (2020, 2021 et 2022), considéré comme modèle à méditer.
Dans une allocution, M. Adel Gana a présenté ses remerciements au président de la République, qui a parrainé les convois de médecins bénévoles dans les trois éditions, remerciant par la même occasion les organisateurs de la confiance accordée à l’Algérie à travers ce prix, affirmant que ce sacre est un “reflet réaliste des mÅ“urs authentiques de l’Algérie”.
Ce dernier permet également de “consolider la place pionnière de l’Algérie comme étant un pays civilisé prônant les valeurs humaines, la solidarité, la paix, la sécurité et la stabilité partout dans le monde, puisque sa force est derrière ses multiples objectifs dans différents domaines” selon le même communiqué.
Le lauréat du Prix a mis en exergue “la démarche de l’Algérie vers une approche nouvelle, établie sur des bases participatives et une contribution collective, laissant l’opportunité à tous les acteurs de construire l’avenir”. Il a également souligné que c’est une “reconnaissance des contributions de l’élite de la jeunesse, après trois longues années de travail, avec un courage sans pareil afin de faire régner la santé et la paix face à l’un des défis sanitaires les plus tenaces auxquels le monde a fait face”.
Dans le même contexte, M. Gana dédie cette réussite au président de la République, aux martyrs et aux victimes de la pandémie de Covid-19, en plus de tous les bénévoles, les acteurs du terrain et les supporteurs du travail solidaire en Algérie. L’annonce de la réussite bien méritée de l’Algérie a eu lieu durant une cérémonie, selon la même source, en présence de l’Ambassadeur de l’Algérie au Bahreïn, Abdelhamid Ahmed-Khodja et nombre de ministres et ambassadeurs arabes.
Il convient de noter que ce prix est accordé en septembre chaque année, coïncidant avec les festivités de la Journée arabe du volontariat (15 septembre), ayant pour but d’encourager les bénévoles à présenter des solutions créatives à travers le bénévolat, contribuant ainsi à faire face aux différents défis et faire répandre la culture du travail volontaire.
