L’Algérie et l’Union européenne (UE) ont renouvelé, lors de la 4ème réunion annuelle du dialogue politique de haut niveau sur l’énergie, tenue lundi à Alger, leur volonté commune de renforcer les relations de partenariat dans le domaine énergétique.
Dans une déclaration à la presse à l’issue de la réunion, le ministre de l’Energie et des Mines, Mohamed Arkab a affirmé que “les deux parties ont renouvelé leur volonté commune de renforcer les relations dans le domaine de l’énergie, à travers la poursuite des échanges et des concertations dans le cadre des groupes de travail d’experts, au sujet du gaz naturel et les perspectives de développement des infrastructures et de l’électricité, notamment le raccordement électrique, les énergies nouvelles et renouvelables et l’efficacité énergétique”.
M.Arkab a invité les entreprises des Etats de l’UE à “saisir toutes les opportunités” pour continuer à développer le partenariat avec l’Algérie, à travers des investissements basés sur le principe “gagnant-gagnant”, rappelant dans ce cadre que les travaux du deuxième forum entre l’Algérie et l’UE dans le domaine de l’énergie serait organisé mardi, et représenterait “un travail concret exécuté, témoignant de la dynamique de cette coopération”.
Durant cette réunion coprésidée par le ministre de l’Energie et des Mines, et le Commissaire européen à l’Energie, Kadri Simson, les deux parties ont discuté des moyens de renforcement de la coopération bilatérale dans le domaine de l’énergie, où il a été réaffirmé que “l’Algérie est un partenaire stratégique, sûr et crédible en matière d’approvisionnement en énergie”, indique M. Arkab.
Les deux parties ont passé en revue durant une réunion élargie entre les deux délégations, l’état de la coopération bilatérale et du partenariat stratégique entre l’Algérie et l’UE.
Cette rencontre a permis d’évoquer les sujets d’intérêt commun, notamment ceux relatifs à l’encouragement des investissements dans le domaine des hydrocarbures, en amont et en aval, le développement de l’hydrogène vert et les perspectives d’une coopération future, à même de réduire les gaz à effet de serre.
