Le Président de la République, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune a rencontré, dimanche soir à Doha, nombre de dirigeants arabes en marge de la cérémonie d’ouverture du Mondial-Qatar 2022.
A cet occasion, le Président Tebboune a rencontré au salon d’honneur du stade “Al-Bayt”, avant le début de la cérémonie d’ouverture, l’Emir du Qatar, Cheikh Tamim ben Hamad al-Thani, le Président égyptien, Abdel Fattah al-Sissi et le roi Abdallah II de Jordanie.
Le Président Tebboune avait assisté à la cérémonie d’ouverture du Mondial-Qatar 2022 où il a salué, dans une déclaration à la presse, l’organisation exceptionnelle de cet évènement sportif mondial.
