Le pôle pénal financier et économique du Tribunal de Sidi M’hamed (Alger) a condamné, jeudi, Mohamed Loukal, à 7 ans de prison ferme assortis d’une amende d’un (1) million Da, pour des faits de corruption lorsqu’il était DG de la Banque extérieure d’Algérie (BEA).
La même juridiction a décidé également la confiscation de tous les avoirs et biens immobiliers de l’ancien ministre.
Les deux cadres de la BEA, en l’occurrence Bouzit Zineddine et Sefrani Mohamed ont bénéficié de l’acquittement dans cette affaire.
Le procureur de la République avait requis, lors de la séance de la semaine dernière, une peine de 10 ans de prison ferme contre Mohamed Loukal, poursuivi pour abus de fonction, dilapidation de deniers publics et octroi d’indus avantages.
