ALGÉRIE/ POLITIQUE : Après les accusations de Gaid Salah, les intimidations envers les manifestants vont-elles cesser ?
A-t-on failli dans la gestion des manifestations pacifiques ? OUI : depuis une semaine et durant le 8e vendredi, on a volontairement cherché à provoquer des affrontements avec les manifestants. C’est le principal enseignement des propos tenus par le général Ahmed Gaid Salah dans son discours prononcé ce mardi 16 avril en 4e région militaire. Qui sont ces « parties » ? Gaid Salah ne les nomme pas. Mais pour lui, l’ «Algérie est entre des mains sûres grâce à des hommes dévoués prêts à défendre leur pays quel qu’en soit le prix ».
Le désaveu est tel que l’armée promet désormais de protéger les manifestants. « Nous avons donné des instructions claires et sans équivoque pour la protection des citoyens, notamment lors des marches », a révélé le général Ahmed Gaid Salah.
« La décision de protéger le peuple, avec ses différentes composantes, est une décision irréversible et dont nous ne dévierons point », a-t-il ajouté dans des propos qui sonnent comme un avertissement à ceux qui seraient tentés de jouer une nouvelle fois avec le feu.
Le chef d’état-major pointe du doigt certaines « parties », dont il ne précise pas l’identité, qui cherche à attenter à ce pacifisme et à susciter des dérapages, manière de dédouaner l’institution qu’il dirige, des derniers dérapages. « L’Armée nationale populaire ne prendra aucune décision qui ne sert pas les intérêts du peuple et de la Patrie », a-t-il promis. « Une armée qui ne prend aucune décision au désavantage du peuple et de la patrie et qui veille à ce qu’aucune goutte de sang algérien ne soit versée, n’en déplaise aux parties hostiles, qui sont dérangées par le caractère pacifique des marches », explique-t-il.
