Le ministre de la Santé, Abdelhak Saihi a insisté, mercredi lors d’une réunion en visioconférence avec les directeurs de santé des wilayas, sur l’importance de l’hygiène hospitalière au niveau des établissements de santé, un volet qui sera au centre d’une journée nationale célébrée le 17 octobre, indique un communiqué.
Lors d’une réunion consacrée au débat autour des mesures entreprises pour la mise en œuvre d’une nouvelle feuille de route pour le secteur, en l’occurrence le Programme d’action pour le malade (PAM), M. Saihi a mis en avant l’importance “d’assurer l’hygiène hospitalière au niveau des établissements de santé à travers l’organisation de larges campagnes de nettoiement par tous les moyens et techniques nécessaires en prévision du 17 octobre qui coïncide avec la journée nationale de l’hygiène hospitalière au niveau des établissements de santé publics”.
Le ministre de la Santé a écouté en début de la réunion un exposé présenté par le directeur général de prévention et de promotion de la santé, durant lequel il a mis l’accent sur “l’importance d’améliorer l’image du secteur de la santé en Algérie, notamment la nécessité de garantir l’hygiène en milieu hospitalier au niveau de toutes les structures de santé en application des instructions et orientations du ministre qui a institué le 17 octobre journée nationale de l’hygiène hospitalière”, une occasion pour relancer tous ce qui est nécessaire pour garantir l’hygiène au sein des établissements de santé”, a précisé la même source.
Le ministre a donné, lors de cette réunion qui a vu la présence de cadres centraux, d’autres instructions, notamment “la disponibilité des médicaments et la maintenance préventive des différents équipements médicaux, de la numérisation des établissements de santé”, ainsi que la réhabilitation du rôle du médecin de famille en préparation au travail selon les circonscriptions sanitaires, conformément à la nouvelle loi sur la santé”.
Il a insisté sur la nécessité d’opérer le changement escompté dans le secteur de la santé sur fond de disponibilité des capacités et moyens à travers l’amélioration des conditions d’accueil et de prise en charge des patients au niveau de tous les établissement et structures de santé”.
Le ministre de la Santé a réaffirmé que “l’accès du patient aux différents services médicaux représente un objectif principal dans la nouvelle vision pour relancer le secteur de la santé”, soulignant que “son département ministériel est prêt à accompagner les établissements publics de santé dans l’exécution de toute procédure et initiative ayant la même vision”, ajoute le même communiqué.
A noter que cette réunion a également connu un exposé du directeur général des services sanitaires sur ce qui a été entamé en matière de procédures d’exécution du PAM, relatif aux urgences, et ce, à travers le recueil des rapports des comités d’inspection et de contrôle envoyés aux différents établissements de santé, afin de déceler les lacunes et diagnostiquer les difficultés.
Il a également été question d'”œuvrer à reconsidérer la distribution des polycliniques travaillant avec le système de roulement 24h/24 en fonction du recensement de la population et la qualité des traitements proposés”, en plus de “l’humanisation et l’amélioration des conditions d’accueil des patients, notamment au niveau des urgences médicales et chirurgicales”.
Dans son intervention, la directrice générale de la pharmacie et des équipements de santé a souligné “l’impératif de redynamiser les comités des produits pharmaceutiques permettant l’évaluation de ce qui devrait être procuré en matière de médicaments, selon les besoins exprimés par les établissements de santé pour éviter toute éventuelle rareté”, mais aussi “rendre accessible la maintenance périodique des différents équipements médicaux notamment ceux relatifs aux accélérateurs”, a conclut le communiqué du ministère de la Santé.
