Organisée à la veille de la célébration du 61e anniversaire du recouvrement de la souveraineté nationale, la cérémonie s’est déroulée en présence de hauts responsables de l’Etat, notamment le président du Conseil de la nation, M. Salah Goudjil, le président de l’Assemblée populaire nationale (APN), M. Brahim Boughali, le Premier ministre, M. Aïmene Benabderrahmane, et le président de la Cour constitutionnelle, M. Omar Belhadj.
Ont également assisté à cette cérémonie, le Chef d’Etat-major de l’ANP, le Général d’Armée Saïd Chanegriha, le ministre d’Etat, Conseiller auprès du président de la République, M. Abdelaziz Khellaf, le Directeur de cabinet à la Présidence de la République, M. Mohamed Ennadir Larbaoui, des conseillers du président de la République, des membres du Gouvernement, des officiers supérieurs de l’ANP, ainsi que des personnalités nationales et des moudjahidine.
A cette occasion, le Président Tebboune a remis le grade de Général-major à plusieurs Généraux, le grade de Général à des Colonels, et le grade de Colonel à des lieutenants colonels.
Par ailleurs, il a décerné des médailles à nombre de cadres militaires et de personnels civils en vertu de décrets présidentiels datés du 27 juin 2023.
A son arrivée au Palais du Peuple, le Président Tebboune a été accueilli par le Chef d’Etat-major de l’ANP, le Général d’Armée Saïd Chanegriha, et le Commandant de la Garde Républicaine, le Général d’Armée Benali Benali.
Après avoir écouté l’hymne national à l’entrée du Palais du peuple, le président de la République a passé en revue un détachement de la Garde républicaine qui lui a rendu les honneurs, et salué des officiers supérieurs de l’ANP.
