Quarante-neuf (49) personnes ont trouvé la mort et 1892 autres ont été blessées dans 1408 accidents de la circulation enregistrés durant la période du 06 au 12 août 2023 à travers le territoire national, indique, mardi, un bilan hebdomadaire de la Protection civile.
Le bilan le plus lourd a été enregistré au niveau de la wilaya de Djelfa avec 10 morts et 42 blessés suite à 18 accidents de la circulation, précise la même source.
Par ailleurs, les éléments de la Protection civile sont intervenus pour l’extinction de 1607 incendies notamment urbains et industriels enregistrés à travers le territoire national, dont les plus importants ont été recensés à Alger (205 incendies), Annaba (128) et Blida (120).
Les services de la Protection civile ont, d’autre part, effectué 5191 interventions pour le sauvetage de 457 personnes en situation de danger et l’exécution de 4470 opérations diverses d’assistance.
