Des préparatifs sont cours pour le lancement de trois programmes nationaux visant à accroître la production des dattes et des olives, et à assurer la protection des éleveurs, a annoncé lundi à Alger, le ministre de l’Agriculture et du Développement rural, Mohamed Abdelhafid Henni.
M. Henni a indiqué dans une déclaration à la presse en marge de l’ouverture de la session parlementaire ordinaire 2023/2024 au Conseil de la nation, que le programme national pour l’extension des vergers d’oliviers, notamment dans les steppes et le Sud “sera lancé cette année”.
Il a également souligné l’importance du programme national de protection des éleveurs, notamment en matière de distribution de fourrages subventionnés, ainsi que celui de l’accroissement de la production des dattes, en cours d’élaboration.
En ce qui concerne l’indemnisation des agriculteurs affectés par la sécheresse, la faible pluviométrie ou encore les inondations, le ministre a annoncé “le lancement de l’opération d’octroi des indemnisations en nature, avec la distribution de l’aide accordée pour la saison agricole actuelle”, tout en leur réaffirmant le soutien de l’état.
S’agissant de la production agricole des produits de large consommation à l’image des fruits et légumes, ainsi que des viandes rouges et blanches, le ministre a assuré que “des mesures fermes seront prises dans les plus brefs délais, pour assurer la disponibilité des différents produits et garantir la stabilité des prix”.
