Les services de la Gendarmerie nationale ont enregistré, au niveau de leurs territoires de compétence, 72 morts et 322 blessés dans 198 accidents corporels survenus cette semaine.
Dans une déclaration jeudi à la presse, le chargé de communication au Centre d’information et de coordination routière du Commandement de la Gendarmerie nationale, le Sergent-chef Abdelhamid Amrani, a indiqué que le facteur humain demeurait “la principale cause” de ces accidents, en raison du non-respect du code de la route, précisant que les conducteurs avaient provoqué 173 accidents, dont 24 dus à l’imprudence et 20 en raison du non-ralentissement dans les virages, tandis que les piétons ont été à l’origine de 14 accidents.
Le bilan le plus lourd a été enregistré dans le wilaya de Aïn Defla (13 accidents), suivie des wilayas d’Alger (12 accidents), Tipasa (09 accidents) et Oran, Tébessa et Sétif avec 8 accidents chacune, a-t-il ajouté.
Selon le même responsable, le bilan fait ressortir “une hausse” du nombre de morts (+08) et de blessés (+25) par rapport à la semaine précédente.
