Le Mouvement dynamique de la communauté algérienne établie en France (MOUDAF) a dénoncé, jeudi, la lettre adressée par le Président français à son Premier ministre et visant l’Algérie, la qualifiant de “dérive stigmatisante et unilatérale”.
“En ciblant l’Algérie sur les questions migratoires et sécuritaires et en rendant cette lettre publique, le Président français alimente dangereusement les amalgames et légitime les discours stigmatisants à l’encontre de millions de franco-algériens”, a écrit le MOUDAF dans un communiqué.
Le mouvement dénonce également “une approche punitive, fondée sur la suspension d’accords bilatéraux, la mise en cause des consulats et l’instrumentalisation du dossier migratoire à des fins de pression politique”, précisant que “cette stratégie de tension nuit à l’intérêt même des deux peuples”.
Rappelant que “depuis plusieurs mois, les sorties répétées du ministre de l’Intérieur contre l’Algérie ont préparé le terrain à cette radicalisation”, le MOUDAF observe que la lettre du Président français “montre qu’il ne s’agissait pas de dérapages isolés: le chef de l’Etat les valide, les amplifie et les endosse pleinement par un geste politique assumé”.
“La diaspora algérienne, composée de plusieurs millions de femmes et d’hommes, est pleinement investie dans toutes les strates de la société française: de la santé à l’enseignement, du monde associatif à l’économie, des arts à la recherche et elle n’est ni un problème, ni une menace, mais une richesse commune”, affirme le MOUDAF, tout en appelant à “une coopération réciproque, lucide et respectueuse, loin des logiques de chantage ou d’intimidation”.
