ALGÉRIE/ POLITIQUE:Blocage des sites et pression sur les journaux : Rahabi dénonce des « pratiques que l’on croyait révolues »
Abdelaziz Rahabi a dénoncé, ce mardi 6 août, les blocages de sites d’informations et les pressions publicitaires sur des journaux.
« Des médias nationaux subissent des pressions allant du chantage à la publicité institutionnelle au blocage de sites d’informations. Seule la justice ou une autorité de régulation doivent pouvoir traiter des questions liées à leur fonctionnement. À ce titre, les mesures qui les frappent sont inacceptables », écrit l’ancien diplomate dans une déclaration sur sa page Facebook.
« Ces pratiques que l’on croyait révolues sont une atteinte flagrante au droit à l’information et à la liberté d’expression, un droit humain et une des revendications majeures des Algériens », ajoute M. Rahabi.
« Le système national d’information peu efficient et décalé par rapport à la réalité internationale des médias doit pouvoir exercer ses missions dans les meilleures conditions et pouvoir accompagner valablement l’effort national de sortie de crise », conclut-il.
