Plusieurs villes tunisiennes ont été théâtre de violentes émeutes durant la nuit du samedi à dimanche pour protester contre la détérioration des conditions sociales et économiques, rapportent plusieurs médias locaux.Ces affrontements entre des jeunes manifestants et forces de l’ordre ont été enregistrés dans au moins six villes tunisiennes à l’occasion de la célébration du 10eme anniversaire du printemps arabe.Selon plusieurs médias tunisiens, des affrontements ont éclaté à Nabeul, Mounastir, Sousse, Elkaf, Seliana, Kasrine, Menouba, Sfakes, ainsi qu’au niveau de plusieurs endroits de la capitale Tunis.
Des émeutiers ont également saccagé et cambriolé plusieurs magasins et centres commerciaux à travers le pays. Des dizaines de manifestants ont été interpellés par la police, a-t-on appris de médias tunisiens.
Selon ces sources, les conditions économiques difficiles sont à l’origine de la grogne sociale. Plusieurs unités de la garde nationale tunisienne ont lancé des appels au calme.
