Comme chaque mardi depuis la reprise du mouvement populaire le 22 février dernier, des centaines d’étudiants ont organisé leur marche hebdomadaire pacifique à Alger pour revendiquer le changement du système et l’instauration d’un Etat de droit.
Un dispositif sécuritaire impressionnant a été déployé sur différents points et accès en prévision de cette marche estudiantine, de manière à délimiter l’itinéraire de la manifestation. Cette dernière n’a pas connu de perturbation ou de tentative de changement de tracé.
Munis de leurs pancartes, les étudiants et citoyens, issus de toutes les catégories sociales, ont sillonné les rues et boulevards d’Alger à coups de slogans phares du mouvement populaire «Sahafa hora, adala moustakila» (Presse libre et justice indépendante), «Djaziar hora demorcatiya» (Algérie libre et démocratique), «Dawla madanya machi 3askarya» (Etat civil et non militaire).
Les étudiants ont réclamé également la libération « de l’étudiant de Biskra Miloud Ben Rouane, arrêté le 01 octobre 2020, qui est toujours incarcéré pour ses opinions politiques ». La Justice avait rejeté, le 18 janvier dernier, sa demande de liberté provisoire. Pour contester cette décision, le jeune étudiant a entamé « une grève de la faim ». Les étudiants s’expriment aussi sur l’attitude du pouvoir en place. « Si le pouvoir voulait réellement une issue à la crise, il doit commencer par ouvrir le champ médiatique à tous les algériens et arrêter d’instrumentaliser la Justice pour des raisons politiques », lancent-ils. Pour ce nouveau mardi de mobilisation, les manifestants s’en sont pris violemment au ministre de la Justice Belkacem Zeghmati en scandant des slogans hostiles à son égard. . Les étudiants ont suivi leur itinéraire habituel en passant par la grande poste, Boulevard Amirouche, Place Maurice Audin.
