Le Procureur général près la Cour d’Alger a requis, jeudi après-midi, une peine de 10 ans de prison ferme à l’encontre de l’ancien Premier ministre Abdelmalek Sellal, poursuivi avec plusieurs cadres pour corruption dans l’affaire du groupe Metidji.
Le Procureur général a requis la même peine à l’encontre de l’ancien chef de Protocole à la Présidence de la République, Mokhtar Reguieg.
Le Parquet général a requis la même peine (10 ans de prison) contre le P-dg du groupe Hocine-Mansour Metidji, et 8 ans contre son fils Yacine.
Dans la même affaire, une peine de 5 ans de prison ferme a été requise contre l’ancien ministre, Abdelkader Kadi et l’ancien directeur de cabinet du Premier ministère, Mustapha Abdelkrim Rahiel, et 3 ans de prison ferme à l’encontre des anciens ministres Abdelwahab Nouri, Abdelkader Bouazgui, Abdelghani Zaalane et Boudjemaa Talaï, de l’homme d’affaires Ali Haddad et l’ancien wali d’Alger, Abdelkader Zoukh.
Des peines allant de 2 à 3 ans de prison ferme ont été requises par le Parquet général contre les autres accusés, outre la confiscation de tous leurs biens mobiliers, immobiliers et de leurs avoirs bancaires.
Les accusés sont poursuivis, entre autres, pour octroi d’indus avantages, financement occulte de la campagne électorale, abus de fonctions et dilapidation de deniers publics.
