Le procès en appel des accusés dans l’affaire Khalifa Bank s’est ouvert, dimanche, devant le tribunal correctionnel près la Cour de Blida, suite à un pourvoi en cassation interjeté auprès de la Cour suprême.
Le principal accusé dans cette affaire, l’ex-Président-directeur général du Groupe Khalifa, Abdelmoumene Rafik Khalifa, et 11 autres accusés parmi les cadres de la banque et des responsables d’entreprises, sont poursuivis pour plusieurs chefs d’inculpation, dont “constitution d’association de malfaiteurs”, “vol en réunion, escroquerie, abus de confiance”, “falsification de documents bancaires”, “corruption”, “trafic d’influence” et “falsification de documents officiels”.
Cette affaire a fait l’objet d’une jonction avec une autre affaire relative à l’ex-gouverneur de la Banque d’Algérie, Abdelwahab Karamane, car liée aux mêmes faits. L’affaire met en cause Karamane Abdelwahab, son frère Abdennour et sa fille Yasmine, poursuivis pour “participation à vol en réunion”.
Le procès a été ouvert, dimanche matin, sous la direction de la présidente du tribunal Rahali Hassiba, avec l’audience d’Abdelmoumene Khalifa, par visio-conférence, à partir de l’établissement pénitentiaire de Chlef, alors que le reste des accusés ont été auditionnés dans l’après-midi, au même titre que la poursuite de l’audience de l’accusé principal.
