Le plan spécial de la circulation et du transport est entré en service à Oran, a-t-on appris mercredi du directeur des Transports, Tahar Hakkas.
M. Hakkas a indiqué, dans une déclaration à l’APS en marge de l’accueil d’un premier groupe de sportifs algériens participant à la19e édition des Jeux méditerranéens à la gare ferroviaire d’Oran, que ce plan a été mis en branle mercredi au niveau du Grand projet urbain (GPU) d’Oran qui regroupe les communes d’Oran, de Bir El-Djir et Es-Sénia, à quelques jours du coup d’envoi de l’événement sportif méditerranéen.
Il comporte la création de lignes rapides, qui s’ajoutent aux lignes habituelles avec la réservation de plus de 20 bus au transport des usagers depuis les gares routières et ferroviaires et autres vers les installations sportives qui abriteront les compétitions, à l’instar du village olympique dans la localité de Belgaïd à l’Est d’Oran et le palais des sports Hamou-Boutlélis à Medina Jdida.
En outre, le transport urbain et suburbain de la wilaya d’Oran est renforcé, durant cette période, par 110 autobus relevant du groupe de transport terrestre des voyageurs, pour desservir les collectivités et les grands pôles urbains, à l’instar du pôle urbain de Oued Tlélat et du pôle urbain Ahmed-Zabana dans la commune de Misserghine à destination du complexe olympique de Belgaïd.
Le plan de la circulation routière au niveau du Grand projet urbain a été actualisé en l’adaptant à la situation marquée notamment par l’évènement sportif méditerranéen, a fait savoir la même source, annonçant la dotation prochaine de l’entreprise de transport urbain et semi urbain de la wilaya d’Oran par de nouveaux autobus
