L’UE a fustigé le «comportement barbare» de la Russie. «Il ne peut y avoir aucune impunité pour les violations et crimes commis par les forces russes et leurs responsables politiques», ont déclaré le chef de la diplomatie de l’UE Josep Borrell et le commissaire européen à la gestion des crises Janez Lenarcic.

Au cimetière Starokrymske de Marioupol (sud-est), par exemple, les auteurs du rapport estiment qu’environ 1.000 nouvelles tombes sont observables sur une période de cinq mois, entre le 21 octobre 2021 et le 28 mars 2022 – un mois après le début de la guerre. Le rythme des inhumations a ensuite fortement augmenté avec 1.141 nouvelles sépultures visibles sur les images satellite entre le 28 mars et le 12 mai et plus de 1.700 autres entre le 12 mai et le 29 juin, selon les auteurs du rapport.

Moscou a jugé « indésirable » le site d’investigation Bellingcat vendredi, jugeant qu’il représentait une « menace » pour la sécurité du pays, selon les agences russes.
