Les services de la Protection civile ont enregistré, au cours des dernières 24 heures, 118 foyers d’incendies dans 21 wilayas de l’Est du pays principalement à El-Tarf, Souk Ahras, Sétif, Guelma et Skikda.
Selon le dernier bilan des même services rendu public jeudi, ces incendies concernent également les wilayas de Constantine, Bejaïa, Mila, Tipasa, Chlef, Aïn Defla, Tizi Ouzou, Batna, Annaba, Oum El Bouaghi, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Jijel, Médéa, Aïn Temouchent, Bouira et Jijel.
A cet effet, la Direction générale de la protection civile a procédé à l’envoi de renforts humain et matériel constitués de 1700 agents et de 280 camions anti-incendies.
Les feux survenus dans la wilaya d’El-Tarf ont fait 30 morts à El-Kala et 161 blessés.
A souk Ahras, les feux de forêts ont fait 5 morts et 65 blessés légers (4 cas de brûlures légères et le reste des cas d’asphyxie) qui ont été secourus par les éléments de la Protection civile. Les mêmes services ont fait état de 10 agents souffrant de difficulté respiratoire.
