Le ministère de la Culture et des Arts organise, en coordination avec le Syndicat national des éditeurs du livre (SNEL), le Salon arabe du livre, sous le slogan “le livre, une base pour réunifier la culture arabe”, qui se déroulera du 27 octobre au 4 novembre au Palais de la culture Moufdi Zakaria, avec la participation de 81 maisons d’édition, a-t-on appris auprès du ministère.
Ce salon sera organisé parallèlement à la commémoration du 68e anniversaire du déclenchement de la Glorieuse Révolution de novembre et la 31e session du Sommet arabe prévue les 1 et 2 novembre à Alger.
Ce salon verra la participation de 81 maisons d’édition dont 62 algériennes et 19 représentants algériens de maisons d’édition arabes de sept pays, à savoir: le Liban, la Jordanie, l’Egypte, les Emirats arabes unis, la Tunisie, la Syrie et l’Arabie saoudite, avec plus de 15.000 titres, toutes spécialités confondues.
En marge de ce salon, des conférences, des ateliers, des communications, des rencontres littéraires et des lectures poétiques seront organisées sur les questions liées à la pensée et à la littérature arabes et la Révolution nationale dans la créativité arabe.
