Un terroriste qui active au sein des groupes terroristes dans la région du Sahel s’est rendu dimanche aux autorités militaires à Adrar qui ont récupéré également un pistolet mitrailleur et cinq chargeurs de munitions, indique lundi un communiqué du ministère de la Défense nationale (MDN).
“Dans le cadre de la lutte antiterroriste et grâce aux efforts des Forces de l’Armée nationale populaire, un (01) terroriste s’est rendu, hier 11 décembre 2022, aux autorités militaires à Adrar en 3e Région militaire. Il s’agit du terroriste dénommé Ladmi Mohamed, qui active au sein des groupes terroristes dans la région du Sahel”, précise la même source.
“Ledit terroriste avait en sa possession un (01) pistolet mitrailleur de type Kalachnikov, cinq (05) chargeurs de munitions et 125 balles de calibre 39 x 7.62 mm”.
Cette opération “reflète, une fois de plus, l’efficacité de l’approche adoptée par le Haut Commandement de l’Armée nationale populaire pour venir à bout du fléau du terrorisme et faire régner la sécurité et la quiétude dans tout le pays”, ajoute le communiqué.
