ALGÉRIE/ POLITIQUE : Affaire de Me Debouz : Le procureur de Ghardaia dénonce une intervention du ministère de la Justice
Le procureur de Ghardaïa a révélé ce lundi, dans un communiqué, avoir « reçu un appel téléphonique de la part d’un cadre au ministère de la Justice » lui demandant de libérer « immédiatement » l’avocat et militant des droits de l’Homme.
Me Debouz a été arrêté dimanche à Alger, et placé sous contrôle judiciaire lundi par le tribunal de Ghardaia.
Le procureur dénonce cette intervention et affirme avoir rejeté la demande, en menaçant de poursuivre tous ceux qui interviendront dans cette affaire.
Il explique que le parquet de Ghardaïa a poursuivi des citoyens pour avoir violé éventuellement les dispositions du Code pénal par leurs déclarations, leurs actes ou la diffusion de publications à des fin de propagande, qui portent atteinte à l’intérêt national, ou insultantes vis-à -vis de l’autorité judiciaire, ce qui peut influer sur l’indépendance de la justice.
Pour le procureur de la Cour de justice de Ghardaïa, Salah Dabouz fait partie des personnes poursuivies. Il précise que l’avocat a été arrêté et traduit en justice ce matin, en tant que citoyen comme les autres, et le parquet a le droit de le poursuivre, et qu’il peut se défendre avec toutes les garanties offertes par la loi.
À l’adresse des avocats qui se sont solidarisés avec Me Debouz, le procureur dénonce leur tentative de faire pression sur la justice et entraver son indépendance.
Mais s’il se montre compréhensif de l’action des avocats, il juge « inacceptable » l’intervention d’un cadre du ministère ordonnant au juge de libérer immédiatement Me Debouz. Il dit se réserver le droit de poursuivre toute personne qui interviendrait dans cette affaire, ou dans d’autres affaires, pour servir d’exemple à ceux qui veulent toucher à l’autorité judiciaire qui n’est représentée que par le juge.
