Le Président de la République, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, a décidé d’octroyer un montant d’un milliard de dollars US à l’Agence algérienne de coopération internationale pour la solidarité et le développement, destiné au financement des projets de développement dans les pays africains.
Dans une allocution lue par le Premier ministre, M. Aïmene Benabderrahmane, lors du 36e Sommet des chefs d’Etat et de gouvernement de l’Union africaine (UA), dont les travaux se poursuivent, dimanche, à Addis-Abeba, le président de la République a affirmé que cette démarche procède de “la conviction de l’Algérie que la sécurité et la stabilité en Afrique sont liées au développement”.
“J’ai décidé d’injecter un montant d’un milliard de dollars US au profit de l’Agence algérienne de coopération internationale pour la solidarité et le développement pour le financement de projets de développement dans les pays africains notamment les projets d’intégration ou ceux à même de contribuer à accélérer le développement en Afrique”, a dit le Président Tebboune.
L’Agence entamera les procédures d’exécution de cette initiative stratégique en coordination avec les pays africains souhaitant en bénéficier.
