Les députés de l’Assemblée populaire nationale (APN) ont adopté, mardi à la majorité, le projet de loi organique relatif à l’information, en séance plénière présidée par le président de l’APN, M. Brahim Boughali, en présence du ministre de la Communication, Mohamed Bouslimani et de la ministre des Relations avec le Parlement, Basma Azouar.
A l’issue de la séance du vote, le ministre de la Communication a affirmé que le texte de loi relatif à l’information devra “contribuer à l’édification d’un système juridique fort qui consolide la liberté d’expression et garantit le droit du citoyen dans l’accès à l’information fiable”.
Pour le ministre, les dispositions contenues dans le texte de loi “garantissent l’exercice médiatique libre et responsable dans le respect de la Constitution et des lois de la République, et permettent de consolider le professionnalisme dans le domaine de l’information, et ce en remédiant aux dysfonctionnements et insuffisances contenues dans les précédentes lois”, ce qui contribuera, a-t-il dit, à “l’édification d’une presse libre et intègre dans l’Algérie Nouvelle”.
Le ministre a, en outre, estimé que l’objectif de tout un chacun, est de parvenir à l’édification d’un système d’information “fort, responsable et crédible, qui permet au citoyen de recevoir l’information juste”.
Pour rappel, le projet de loi organique relative à l’information a connu 54 propositions d’amendement, dont 16 ont été adoptées.
