Le Conseil national des journalistes algériens (CNJA) a salué, mardi dans un communiqué, la décision du Président de la République, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, relative à l’adoption de la presse électronique comme nouveau mécanisme de publication des marchés publics, considérant que cette mesure était à même d’opérer “une révolution dans la numérisation de la presse en Algérie”.
Cette décision “consolide la souveraineté médiatique de l’Algérie et renforce le rôle de la presse électronique dans la lutte contre les campagnes de désinformation menées contre l’Algérie par des sites étrangers”, affirme le CNJA, indiquant qu’elle contribuera également à “imprimer davantage de transparence et d’intégrité dans la passation des marchés publics, mais également à fournir des informations importantes au grand public de manière plus rapide et plus efficace”.
Le Conseil adhère à “l’appel du Président Tebboune à la nécessité de promouvoir la formation dans le domaine de la presse électronique”, soulignant que “les compétences requises dans ce domaine sont nécessaires pour permettre aux journalistes de la presse électronique d’accomplir leur rôle avec efficacité et un haut niveau de professionnalisme”, lit-on dans le communiqué.
Le CNJA a appelé les responsables des sites Internet à “utiliser la majeure partie des fonds de la publicité publique dans l’amélioration des conditions de travail, les salaires et la formation des journalistes”, a conclu le communiqué.
