Wennesland et de nombreux membres du Conseil souligneront probablement que les colonies de peuplement sont illégales au regard du droit international et constituent un obstacle à la paix. Ils peuvent exhorter l’entité sioniste à cesser toute activité de colonisation.
L’usage de la force létale par l’occupation sioniste, avait été condamné par le Haut-Commissaire des Nations unies aux droits de l’homme, Volker Türk.
