ALGÉRIE/ POLITIQUE : Accusée d’avoir réprimé les manifestations, la DGSN se défend et annonce avoir arrêté des « étrangers »
Depuis quelques jours, le comportement de la police à l’égard des manifestations pacifiques a changé. Ce constat s’est confirmé de manière spectaculaire ce vendredi où les policiers ont réprimé des manifestants à Alger, en usant de gaz lacrymogènes contre une foule compact à Place Audin. Le mouvement de foule aurait pu provoquer des dégâts considérables.
Pour se défendre, la DGSN a publié en fin de journée un communiqué alarmiste. Elle affirme avoir déjoué un complot contre le mouvement populaire, en arrêtant des étrangers.
« Durant ces semaines, des étrangers venus spécialement pour attiser les tensions et pousser les jeunes à recourir à des formes d’expression radicales, en vue d’exploiter leurs images via les médias et sur les réseaux sociaux, ont été identifiés et interpellés et leurs desseins dévoilés. Certains ont même été arrêtés en possession d’équipements sensibles, de substances psychotropes à effet hallucinogène, en quantités importantes et qui agissaient en réseaux et sur des points ciblés », affirme le communiqué de la DGSN, publié alors que les manifestations se poursuivaient.
Selon la DGSN, « pendant toutes les semaines, et chaque jour, des délinquants et autres malintentionnés, ont été interpellés parmi les manifestants, dont certains tentaient d’écouler leurs marchandises prohibées, dérober les biens des citoyens, voire les harceler ou les agresser ».
La DGSN affirme aussi que les services de police « ont eu également à déjouer des projets criminels d’envergure, tels que l’arrestation d’un groupe de terroristes fortement pourvus en armes et de munitions qui planifiaient de commettre des exactions contre les citoyens, profitant de la densité humaine générée par la mobilisation ».
La DGSN affirme « veillé à ce que » les manifestations « se déroulent dans le respect des droits de l’homme, sans distinction aucune, en assumant la tâche combien difficile, de préserver l’intégrité physique et morale des manifestants avec de grands risques de débordements, mettant en danger leurs vies et celles de leurs familles ».
La DGSN a regretté que malgré les efforts consentis par les services de police, pour fluidifier la voie publique, « de nombreux usagers continuent à se plaindre des conditions de circulation et de mouvement, après que des attroupements permanents et irresponsables ont obstrué leurs voies de communication et dégradé leurs conditions de vie normale, affectant leurs commerces, leur tranquillité et leurs occupations ».
