L’Algérie a pris acte avec satisfaction de l’ordonnance de la Cour internationale de justice enjoignant à l’entité sioniste de mettre fin à son agression à Rafah, dans la bande de Gaza, indique samedi un communiqué du ministère des Affaires étrangères et de la Communauté nationale à l’étranger.
“L’Algérie a pris acte avec satisfaction de l’ordonnance de la Cour Internationale de Justice enjoignant à l’occupant israélien l’arrêt immédiat de l’agression perpétrée contre Rafah”, souligne le ministère.
Il précise que “cette ordonnance intervient dans le sillage de la décision émise par la même juridiction internationale dans le cadre de l’examen de la plainte de l’Afrique du Sud sur le génocide en cours à Gaza et de la décision du Procureur Général de la Cour Pénale Internationale ouvrant la procédure de l’émission de mandats d’arrêt internationaux contre les principaux auteurs de l’agression israélienne contre Gaza”.
“L’ensemble de ces développements récents convergent pour marquer le début de la fin de l’ère de l’impunité dont l’occupation sioniste a longtemps bénéficié pour faire endurer au peuple palestinien les affres de l’occupation, de la colonisation, de la discrimination et de la négation de ses droits nationaux inaliénables et imprescriptibles”, poursuit le communiqué.
Par ailleurs, “l’Algérie demande instamment au Conseil de Sécurité de donner suite à l’ordonnance de la Cour Internationale de Justice en lui conférant un caractère exécutoire qui mettrait fin aux crimes de toutes sortes que l’occupation israélienne fait subir à la population de Gaza et de Rafah en particulier”, conclut le communiqué.
