Un grave accident de la route s’est produit vendredi matin à l’entrée ouest de la commune de Jijel, faisant quatre morts et trente-cinq blessés. Le drame a eu lieu sur la route nationale n°43, lorsqu’un bus transportant des passagers a dérapé avant de se renverser à proximité de la localité de Kissir, ont indiqué les services de la Protection civile.
Selon le communiqué officiel, l’intervention des secours a été rapide : l’unité principale de la Protection civile de Jijel, assistée de cinq unités d’intervention, s’est rendue sur les lieux vers 8 heures du matin pour porter secours aux victimes.
Les blessés ont reçu les premiers soins sur place avant d’être évacués vers l’hôpital Mohamed-Seddik Benyahia, a précisé la même source. Quant aux corps des quatre victimes décédées, ils ont été transportés à la morgue du même établissement.
Une enquête a été ouverte par les services de sécurité compétents afin de déterminer les causes exactes de cet accident.
