Un narcotrafiquant armé a été neutralisé par des détachements combinés de l’Armée nationale populaire (ANP) qui ont également récupéré des armes, mardi, lors d’une autre embuscade menée dans la zone d’Arrak dans la wilaya de Tamanrasset, indique mercredi un communiqué du ministère de la Défense nationale (MDN).
“Dans la dynamique des efforts à assurer la sécurisation de la bande frontalière et à mettre en échec toutes tentatives de contrebande et de criminalité organisée, des détachements combinés de l’Armée nationale populaire ont neutralisé hier 17 mars 2026, lors d’une autre embuscade menée dans la zone d’Arrak dans la wilaya de Tamanrasset en 6e Région militaire un (1) narcotrafiquant armé et récupéré de deux (2) pistolets mitrailleurs de type FMPK, un (1) pistolet-mitrailleur de type Kalachnikov, un (1) véhicules tout-terrain, contenant un million cinq cent mille (1.500.000) comprimés psychotropes, un (1) appareil de communication de type Thuraya, trois (03) chargeurs et une quantité de munitions”, précise la même source.
“Cette seconde opération qualitative vient s’ajouter à l’opération effectuée le 15 mars 2026 qui s’est soldée par la neutralisation de (4) narcotrafiquants armés, la saisie d’un million six cent mille (1.600.000) comprimés psychotropes ainsi que la récupération d’un (1) pistolet-mitrailleur de type kalachnikov”, ajoute le communiqué, soulignant que “le bilan de ces opérations s’élève ainsi à plus de (3) millions de comprimés psychotropes en deux jours”.
“Ces deux opérations exécutées dans un laps de temps réduit dans la même région, réaffirment l’ampleur des menaces qui guettent nos frontières, et mettent en exergue les efforts consentis par le personnel de l’ANP quotidiennement pour venir à bout de ces criminels en toute fermeté”, conclut le communiqué du MDN.
