Le général à la retraite Hocine Benhadid a été placé sous mandat de dépôt par le juge d’instruction du Tribunal de Sidi M’hamed d’Alger, a-t-on appris de source judiciaire. Les raisons de son incarcération n’ont pas été précisées.
Le 22 mars 2018, le général Benhadid avait été condamné par le même Tribunal à une année de prison avec sursis et 20.000 DA d’amende. Il était poursuivi pour entreprise de démoralisation de l’armée à travers des déclarations faites en septembre 2015 sur Radio M. Il a été placé sous mandat de dépôt le 1er octobre 2015, et libéré quelques mois plus tard, en juillet 2016 pour des raisons de santé.
