ALGÉRIE/SOCIÉTÉ : De nouvelles mesures quant aux frais du visa- Schengen
Dans un communiqué daté du 6 juin 2019, l’Union Européenne (UE) décline de nouvelles dispositions pour l’obtention du visa- Schengen.
En premier lieu, il y a lieu de retenir la revue à la hausse des frais du visa qui passent à 80 euros. Le document de l’UE l’explique par une efficacité «accrue du traitement des demandes» attendue dans tous les pays des Etats membres de l’Union.
Dans cette veine, le communiqué met en avant de nouvelles procédures d’allègement, plus rapides.
Ainsi, les voyageurs réguliers, qui satisfont aux conditions, de bénéficier d’une durée de validité passant progressivement de un à cinq ans, tout en proposant un formulaire électronique, une approche harmonisée pour la délivrance de visas à entrées multiples et, enfin, la possibilité de compléter a demande six mois au plus tôt et quinze jours au plus tard avant le voyage.
En parallèle, et à un plan éminemment politique l’UE mettra en branle un mécanisme de rétorsion s’agissant de la migration clandestine.
De ce fait, des mesures plus restrictives pour l’octroi du visa, seront appliquées aux pays réfractaires au rapatriement de leurs ressortissants clandestins.
A l’inverse, les pays plus coopératifs bénéficieront d’une réduction des frais des droits de visas, du délai du traitement des demandes et/ou l’allongement de la durée de la validité.
Enfin, l’union entrevoit des mécanismes d’évaluation, tous les trois ans, du montant des frais des droits du visa.
