Le ministre de la Communication, Porte-parole du gouvernement, Ammar Belhimer, a mis l’accent vendredi depuis Mostaganem, sur le rôle et l’importance des médias dans la réussite des prochaines élections législatives, prévues le 12 juin.
M. Belhimer a souligné dans une déclaration à la presse, en marge de sa visite dans la wilaya de Mostaganem, que “les médias traditionnels et électroniques sont conscients de leur responsabilité quant à leur contribution, avec professionnalisme, dans la réussite de ce rendez-vous important, notamment à travers la sensibilisation compte tenu de l’importance de ce rendez-vous électoral et d’acter les nouvelles garanties démocratiques”.
Il a ajouté, dans ce sillage, que “ce rendez-vous électoral, s’affiche avec d’importantes nouvelles garanties démocratiques, dont notamment l’éloignement de l’argent des opérations électorales, et le renforcement des chances de la femme et des jeunes universitaires”.
Le porte-parole du gouvernement a souligné, à la faveur de sa visite ayant coïncidé avec les festivités de la fête de la victoire, lors de l’inauguration de la maison de la presse à la cité “5 juillet 1962”, que cette structure “sera un espace qui contribuera à améliorer le travail des journalistes, et de renforcer leurs relations professionnelles”, faisant savoir que “ces acquis entre dans le cadre des efforts de l’Etat pour consacrer le droit à l’information et la liberté de la presse en assurant la multiplication des sources d’information et de moyens de communication”.
Le ministre a expliqué, lors de l’inauguration du nouveau siège de la radio locale, l’importance de l’information de proximité, considérant qu’elle reste un moyen de choix pour rapprocher l’administration du citoyen et la prise en charge de ses préoccupations au niveau local”.
M. Belhimer a souligné, dans ce sillage, que le ministère de tutelle veille à élargir le réseau de ce type de médias et la réactivation de son rôle avec le concours des compétences locales et à œuvrer pour le doter d’outils de numérisation et les diverses technologies de l’information et de la communication.
Le ministre de communication a présidé, à l’occasion de sa visite, la cérémonie de remise symbolique des clefs de 1.140 logements de type public locatif (LPL), ainsi que des 250 décisions d’aide financière pour la construction d’habitat rural, de même qu’il a présidé une cérémonie de signature de plusieurs conventions de coopération entre l’Université et la radio locale, le secteur de la jeunesse et des sports et la société civile (associations de la presse de la wilaya de Mostaganem), portant sur la formation des chargés de presse au niveau des instances publiques, de la presse de la jeunesse, du théâtre de la radio, ainsi que l’amélioration du niveau des professionnels, d’une façon générale.
