Trente-sept nouveaux cas du variant britannique ont été confirmés en Algérie, selon les derniers chiffres communiqués lundi par l’Institut Pasteur Algérie (IPA).
Dans la continuité des activités de séquençage des virus SARS-CoV-2 mises en place par l’Institut Pasteur Algérie dans le contexte de surveillance des variants circulant actuellement dans le monde, il a été procédé à la confirmé 37 vnouveaux cas de variant britannique.
Ces nouveaux cas du variant britannique ont été recensés à Alger (23), Blida(05), Béjaia (03), M’sila(03), Constantine(01), Mila(01) et Médéa (01).
Le nombre total des cas du variant britannique passe ainsi à 180 contaminations.
L”IPA a par ailleurs fait état des premiers cas contamination au variant indien au nombre de six dans la wilaya de Tipaza.
