La Cour d’Alger a reporté, mercredi, le procès en appel dans l’affaire du groupe Metidji, impliquant l’ancien Premier ministre Abdelmalek Sellal et nombre d’anciens ministres et responsables, poursuivis pour des chefs d’accusations liés à la corruption, au 20 avril courant.
Le pôle pénal économique et financier du tribunal de Sidi M’hamed (Alger) avait condamné, fin janvier dernier, l’ancien Premier ministre, Abdelmalek Sellal à 5 ans de prison ferme et l’ancien chef de Protocole à la Présidence de la République, Mokhtar Reguieg à 6 ans de prison ferme, tandis que l’ancien P-dg du groupe Metidji, Mansour Metidji avait été condamné à 8 ans de prison ferme dans cette affaire.
Une peine de 3 ans de prison ferme avait été prononcée à l’encontre de l’ancien directeur de Cabinet du Premier ministère, Mustapha Abdelkrim Rahiel dans le cadre de la même affaire.
L’ancien wali d’Alger, Abdelkader Zoukh, l’ancien ministre des Transports et des travaux publics, Abdelghani Zaalane, et l’ancien chef de cabinet du Premier ministère, Amrani Hafnaoui avaient été acquittés.
