La première édition des “‘Sahara International Theater Nights” (Nuits internationales du théâtre du Sahara) d’Adrar, premier événement d’envergure international dédié au 4e art dans la région, a été inaugurée mercredi soir par la ministre de la Culture et des Arts, Soraya Mouloudji.
Organisée à l’initiative de l’association “Forsane Rokh”, cette première édition, qui se poursuit jusqu’au 26 décembre, prévoit la participation de seize pays dont la Palestine et la République Arabe Sahraouie Démocratique, invités d’honneur du festival.
Dans son allocution d’ouverture, la ministre de la Culture et des Arts a souligné que ce festival participe à la “consolidation de la sécurité culturelle en Algérie” que les “autorités politiques du pays, à leur tête le président de la République, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, œuvrent à assurer”.
Des actions culturelles de cette envergure, “dans leur dimension africaine” participent, estime la ministre, au “développement du continent” et nécessitent la mobilisation et le soutien “des différents acteurs de la société civile et des départements ministériels”.
Mme Mouloudji a également salué le grand apport et le soutien du Wali d’Adrar à cette manifestation.
Placée sous le signe du “Dialogue”, ce festival prévoit également des ateliers de formation sur le jeu de comédien, la scénographie, l’écriture dramaturgique, le langage corporel et le clown, qui seront animés par des praticiens de renommée mondiale.
Un colloque sur l’exploitation du patrimoine culturel populaire dans le théâtre, est également au programme de cette manifestation.
Des troupes en provenance de pays comme l’Italie, la Tunisie, le Sultanat d’Oman, l’Egypte, ou encore l’Allemagne animeront ce festival en plus de nombreuses pièces de coopératives et théâtres algériens.
Outre le théâtre, l’événement permettra également aux troupes et comédiens de découvrir la région et son potentiel touristique dans l’optique de vulgariser le tourisme saharien et l’éco-tourisme.
Des campagnes de boisement et un marathon à travers un circuit touristique, et un marché de produits d’artisanat, vont accompagner le festival.
