Quarante-et-une (41) personnes ont trouvé la mort et 1724 autres ont été blessées dans 1301 accidents de la circulation enregistrés durant la période entre le 2 et le 8 juillet à travers le territoire national, indique, mardi, un bilan hebdomadaire de la Protection civile.
Le bilan le plus lourd a été enregistré dans la wilaya de Bordj Bou Arreridj avec 8 morts et 95 blessés suite à 39 accidents de la circulation, précise la même source.
Par ailleurs, les éléments de la Protection civile sont intervenus pour l’extinction de 1410 incendies notamment urbains et industriels enregistrés à travers le territoire national, dont les plus importants ont été recensés à Alger (119 incendies), Mostaganem (63) et Annaba (59).
Les services de la Protection civile ont, d’autre part, effectué 7065 interventions pour le sauvetage de 361 personnes en situation de danger et l’exécution de 5997 opérations diverses d’assistance.
