Dans son rapport quotidien publié sur Facebook, l’état-major ukrainien rapporte que l’armée russe a lancé une attaque contre la ville de Kharkiv, dans la nuit de dimanche à lundi.
Ces dernières vingt-quatre heures, les Russes ont tiré quatre missiles et mené quarante-deux frappes aériennes contre des positions militaires ukrainiennes ou des civils, selon l’état-major. Ces attaques ont « tué et blessés des civils et détruit des bâtiments résidentiels », affirme-t-il.
De leur côté, les forces ukrainiennes ont mené sept attaques, ces dernières vingt-quatre heures, sur des zones de concentration de soldats russes, selon l’état-major ukrainien, qui affirme aussi avoir détruit huit drones russes.
Outre les bombardements sur le front, Moscou continue d’intégrer les territoires ukrainiens occupés, rapporte l’armée ukrainienne. L’état-major cite un exemple : selon lui, des militaires russes sont à Milove (Louhansk) pour connecter le réseau de communication et Internet aux opérateurs russes, installant des câbles de communication depuis la Russie.

Selon le chef de la « république populaire de Donetsk », Denis Pouchiline, l’armée russe a chassé les soldats ukrainiens du village de Staromaïorske, sur le front sud. « Nos unités ont pu chasser l’ennemi [de Staromaïorske], l’ennemi a subi de lourdes pertes en personnel et en équipement », a déclaré Denis Pouchiline à la chaîne Russia 24, selon RBK. Selon lui, les combats de position se poursuivent le long de la ligne de contact, les forces russes connaissant « un certain succès », d’après lui.
Jeudi, la vice-ministre de la défense, Hanna Maliar, avait annoncé que le village avait été « libéré ». « Nos défenseurs mènent actuellement des opérations de nettoyage » des troupes russes, avait ajouté Mme Maliar sur Telegram. Le président ukrainien avait ensuite diffusé une vidéosur Telegram montrant des soldats avec un drapeau ukrainien près d’un mur criblé d’éclats. « Notre Sud, nos gars, gloire à l’Ukraine ! », avait-il écrit. Sur cette vidéo, les soldats disent avoir « libéré le village de Staromaïorske ».

Le ministre russe de la Défense Sergueï Choïgou a affirmé lundi que l’intensité des frappes sur les infrastructures militaires ukrainiennes avait « augmenté en flèche » en réponse aux attaques visant le territoire russe.

« Il est évident que la contre-offensive n’est pas réussie », a déclaré à la presse le porte-parole du Kremlin, Dmitri Peskov, en qualifiant la situation de « très difficile » pour les forces ukrainiennes qui n’ont selon lui « aucun succès ». « Et dans un acte de désespoir, le régime de Kiev recourt à de telles frappes terroristes », a-t-il assuré. Dmitri Peskov a affirmé que « toutes les mesures possibles sont prises pour défendre les sites d’infrastructure civils ».
La Russie a annoncé dimanche avoir repoussé une attaque de drones ukrainiens à Moscou où les façades de deux tours de bureaux dans le quartier d’affaires « Moscou City », le plus important de la capitale, ont été endommagées et plusieurs fenêtres ont été soufflées.
