ALGÉRIE/ POLITIQUE: Arrêté puis relâché, le dirigeant de HRW convoqué pour une audition
Ahmed Reda Benchemsi, directeur de la communication pour le Moyen- Orient et l’Afrique du Nord à l’ONG, Human Rights Watch (HRW), a été relâché, après avoir été arrêté hier vendredi par la police à Alger.
Selon le journaliste Saïd Boudour qui rapporte l’information, le dirigeant de HRW sera entendu mardi prochain dans le cadre d’une enquête. Il ne dit pas, cependant, si la convocation émane de la police ou du parquet.
« Le directeur de la communication de HRW a été relâché. Il est convoqué pour une audition qui aura lieu mardi prochain, après avoir été arrêté hier à la place Audin en compagnie du correspondant d’une ONG », indique-il sur son compte Facebook.
Pour rappel, Ahmed Reda Benchemsi, fondateur et ancien directeur de publication de Telquel, un newsmagazine marocain. Celui qui est également chercheur à l’université de Stanford, aux Etats Unis, pays où il est établi depuis des années.
