Le ministre des Affaires étrangères, Sabri Boukadoum, a souligné jeudi que la réunion du Comité de suivi de l’Accord de paix et de réconciliation au Mali, issu du processus d’Alger, abritée pour la première fois par la ville de Kidal (nord du Mali), constitue un évènement inédit qui “donnera une forte impulsion” à ce processus, parrainé par l’Algérie.
Boukadoum qui effectue depuis mercredi une visite de travail au Mali a déclaré sur son compte Twitter: “J’ai présidé, aujourd’hui (jeudi), les travaux de la 42è session du Comité de suivi de l’Accord de paix et de réconciliation au Mali, issu du processus d’Alger, lesquels ont été abrités pour la première fois par la ville de Kidal dans le nord du Mali”.
Il a ajouté que “cela constitue un évènement inédit et un indicateur important à même de donner une forte impulsion au processus de paix et de réconciliation parrainé par l’Algérie, en coopération avec la communauté internationale représentée par le Comité”.
Boukadoum a été reçu par le président malien, Bah N’Daw, avec lequel il a évoqué les relations bilatérales et les perspectives de les renforcer, ainsi que les moyens à même d’accélérer la cadence de la mise en œuvre de l’Accord de paix et de réconciliation issu du processus d’Alger.
Le chef de la diplomatie algérienne a également eu des entretiens avec le vice-président du Mali, le colonel Assimi Goïta et le ministre de la réconciliation nationale, le colonel Ismael Wagué, avec lesquels il a abordé les relations bilatérales et les voies de promotion du processus de paix et de réconciliation que l’Algérie accompagne et soutient.
Boukadoum a été également reçu à Bamako par M. Zeyni Moulaye, ministre des Affaires étrangères et de la Coopération internationale de la République du Mali. Les deux ministres ont convenu de la poursuite des efforts pour promouvoir les relations bilatérales et donner une forte impulsion au processus de paix et de réconciliation dans ce pays”.
La relance du processus de paix au Mali soulignée à Bamako
Les entretiens entre M. Boukadoum et des responsables maliens, avec à leur tête le chef de l’Etat, Bah N’Daw, ont porté essentiellement sur les relations bilatérales et les modalités de faire progresser le processus de paix et de réconciliation au Mali que l’Algérie accompagne et soutient.
“J’ai été reçu, aujourd’hui, par le président de la République du Mali, M. Bah N’Daw, dont la rencontre a été une opportunité pour examiner les relations bilatérales et les perspectives de les renforcer, ainsi que les voies et moyens à même d’accélérer la cadence de la mise en œuvre de l’accord de paix et de réconciliation issu du processus d’Alger”, a twetté M. Boukadoum.
Par ailleurs, le chef de la diplomatie algérienne a assisté, au cours de sa visite, à la cérémonie de la signature du mémorandum d’entente pour un partenariat avec l’Ecole de maintien de la paix au Mali.
Cette visite, la troisième de M. Boukadoum depuis les changements politiques survenus au Mali le mois d’août de l’année dernière, s’inscrit dans le cadre des efforts visant à promouvoir les relations bilatérales et à donner un élan au processus de paix dans ce pays voisin.
L’Algérie considère la stabilité au Mali, “un appui à notre sécurité stratégique et nationale, basé sur l’accord de paix et de réconciliation issu du processus d’Alger”, avait affirmé le président de la République, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, qui a ajouté que “cet accord se veut la solution idoine et durable à même de mettre fin au conflit opposant les antagonistes maliens”.
Les acteurs internationaux et régionaux ont salué “les grands efforts” menés par l’Algérie pour assurer le retour et le maintien de la stabilité au Mali, réaffirmant l’impérative application effective de l’accord de paix et de réconciliation, “le seul et unique choix” pour rétablir la paix et la stabilité dans ce pays.
Les Maliens se sont réjouis “des résultats obtenus” en matière de la mise en œuvre de l’accord de paix et de réconciliation au Mali grâce à l’accompagnement constant de la médiation internationale conduite par l’Algérie, à la faveur du comité de suivi de l’application de l’accord “qui n’a ménagé aucun effort pour maintenir l’équilibre de ce processus”.
