“Monsieur le Général d’Armée, Saïd Chanegriha, Chef d’Etat-Major de l’Armée nationale populaire,
L’Algérie, notre chère patrie a vécu, à l’occasion du soixantenaire du recouvrement de sa souveraineté nationale, au rythme de festivités dignes de l’esprit nationaliste enraciné chez notre peuple qui a suivi, avec beaucoup de fierté, le défilé militaire du 5 juillet au matin. Cet événement, ô combien exceptionnel, a eu un grand effet sur le moral des Algériennes et des Algériens qui n’avaient pas assisté, depuis des années, à de telles scènes grandioses qui reflètent, on ne peut mieux, l’image forte et impressionnante de la cohésion entre notre armée vaillante et notre grand peuple.
Des scènes hautement significatives en termes de précision dans l’organisation et de maîtrise des détails, fruit d’une organisation professionnelle et d’une exécution rigoureuse et d’une haute précision… Cette œuvre imposante dont ont été témoins les chefs d’Etat et personnalités ayant pris part à l’évènement, est une preuve irréfutable de la justesse de la démarche de l’Institution militaire dans notre pays qui avance à grands pas sur la voie de la maîtrise des sciences modernes et des technologies militaires de pointe, ce qui en fait une Institution au diapason des dernières évolutions en matière militaire, jouissant d’une grande considération et de l’admiration de son peuple.
Tout en me réjouissant hautement du succès retentissant du défilé militaire dans toutes ses figures harmonieusement formées, je vous exprime toute ma considération, à vous et à tous les officiers, sous-officiers, soldats et personnels qui ont supervisé les opérations de préparation et d’exécution et veillé à leur bon déroulement jusqu’à la dernière minute.
Mes félicitations à vous tous pour cet exploit grandiose qui a redonné à l’Algérie le lustre qui lui sied et aux citoyens fierté et confiance… Un exploit écrit en lettres d’or sur le registre de l’histoire des hauts faits de l’Armée nationale populaire et dont l’éclat demeurera vivace dans la mémoire de la Nation et retentira très loin au-delà des frontières dont vous êtes les vaillants gardiens”.
