L’armée russe a déployé des lanceurs de missiles sur le site de la centrale nucléaire de Zaporijia (sud), sous contrôle des Russes depuis début mars, grâce auxquels elle pilonne notamment la région de Nikopol, a affirmé vendredi Petro Kotin, le patron d’Energoatom, l’opérateur ukrainien.
« La situation (à la centrale) est extrêmement tendue et la tension s’accroît de jour en jour. Les occupants y amènent leur machinerie, y compris des systèmes de missiles avec lesquels ils ont déjà frappé de l’autre côté de la rivière Dnipro et sur le territoire de Nikopol », à 80 km au sud-ouest de Zaporijia, a-t-il indiqué sur Telegram après un entretien télévisé sur la chaîne ukrainienne United News.
Selon lui, jusqu’à 500 soldats russes se trouvent toujours sur le site de la centrale. « Ils contrôlent le site », a-t-il assuré.
« Des équipements lourds (chars, véhicules blindés), des occupants et des camions chargés d’armements et d’explosifs restent stationnés sur le site de la centrale », a assuré Petro Kotin, estimant « insuffisante » la pression pour les faire partir et critiquant en particulier l’Agence internationale de l’énergie atomique (AIEA).
Son directeur général Rafael Grossi a insisté jeudi, selon un communiqué, sur « l’importance » que l’AIEA puisse se rendre dans la centrale afin de mener « des opérations essentielles de sécurité, de sûreté et de protection de la plus grande centrale nucléaire de l’Ukraine ».
L’Agence n’a pas pu s’y rendre depuis l’invasion russe de l’Ukraine le 24 février.

« La société russe, avec autant de meurtriers et de bourreaux, restera anéantie sur des générations, et ceci par sa propre faute », a-t-il lancé, affirmant que la quasi totalité de l’Ukraine était sous alerte aérienne vendredi soir avec des frappes signalées à Dnipro (est), Krementchouk (sud-est de Kiev) et dans la région de Kiev.
