L’Association des Oulémas musulmans algériens (AOMA) a décidé de geler ses activités au sein de l’Union internationale des Oulémas musulmans (UIOM), suite aux propos provocateurs contre l’Algérie du président de cette instance, le marocain Ahmed Raïssouni.
Dans une déclaration à la télévision algérienne, le président de l’AOMA, Abderezzak Guessoum, a annoncé le gel des activités de l’Association à l’UIOM, jusqu’à ce que “des excuses solennelles et sans équivoque” soient faites par son président, Ahmed Raïssouni, ou sa démission de ce poste.
Il a également appelé “tous les Oulémas musulmans à appuyer la décision de l’AOMA et à exiger le départ de Raïssouni”.
Pour rappel, l’AOMA avait dénoncé, dans un communiqué rendu public, les déclarations provocantes de Raïssouni contre l’Algérie, estimant qu’elles “ne servent nullement l’unité des peuples et ne préservent pas le bon voisinage”.
Raïssouni, qui a brillé par son mutisme face à la trahison de la cause palestinienne par le Makhzen et les visites successives des chefs des institutions militaires et sécuritaires sionistes au Maroc, avait appelé “au djihad contre l’Algérie”, en violation flagrante du principe du djihad en Islam, précise-t-on de même source.
